2007 LEGISLATION

- 12/19/07 Federal approval received.

MHCP enrollment criteria:

  1. Graduated from one of the accredited MN CHW curriculum program and received a CHW Certificate
  2. Supervised by a physician/advanced practice registered nurse who worked as for a approved Medicaid Enrolled Provider

2008 LEGISLATION

- 3/18/09: Federal approval of CHW expansion to the following provider types:

  1. Supervised by Certified public health nurses operating under the direct authority of an enrolled unit of government
  2. Supervised by Dentists

2009 LEGISLATION

  1. Currently applying for Federal Approval
  2. Supervised by a Mental Health Professionals
